They have established themselves among the leading companies in food industry and are committed to manufacturing and selling high quality and world class products. The Read-mix “Idly Dosa Batter” business is the latest foray of the group.
Pre Implementation Scenario
The client was using window based standalone software for managing finance for each company separately. Inventory management was a pain point for them. It was very difficult to manage the raw material purchase by calculating the deduction factors like bad quality, shortage quantity, hamali, rain affected deduction, freight payment and the brokerage commission of a broker.
Their management was specifically concerned about the BOM management, high inventory and machinery carrying cost, production cost, and timely order execution. The client was managing production manually on papers. There was no proper tracking to know the actual production from each manufacturing process. Because of not fully integrated system Data gathering of all companies also took a lot of time for Top management Reporting.
